Britney Spears Eyes Comedy Career

Britney Spears is eying a career in comedy following her successful skit at the MTV Video Music Awards, according to reports.
The Toxic hitmaker has apparently been "bitten by the comedy bug" after her slot on How I met Your Mother and opening the VMAs with Jonah Hill proved so popular.
And TV bosses are fighting over booking the star.
A source says, "Britney had a great time filming the trailer for the VMAs with Russell Brand.
"She said that if her performance on the night went down well she would definitely be up for doing more comedy slots.
"Britney is a naturally funny girl and loves to goof around so she can't wait to get her teeth into more comedy sketches.
"She is getting phone calls non-stop so she is more than likely to get her wish. It would really put the icing on the cake for her as far as her comeback goes."
